Free extensions for Joomla!

I use this excellent module at http://www.berithbpc.com I implement it as content browser for Most Read Articles. It displays the top articles of the site.

It is working wonderfully with ONE section. If I have more than 1 section (or I group by categories, eg Recommended Reading at bottom of frontpage), multiple containers will appear. When that happens for the Most Read Articles, it ruins the layout of my frontpage.

What can be done in GN to show a consolidated most hits articles across multiple sections/categories and to display in only 1 container. The core mod_mostread does this; it doesn't group by section or category.

Basically, I want to show ,on a single content browser container, the most-hits articles from declared sections and categories. How do I skip/disable the group by feature?Is this possible in GN?

I know a little how to modify the php, so if someone can nudge me in the direction, I'll be thankful to jump right into it and come back with more questions to get more help..

I'm having the same problem, want to show latest article from multiple section in only 1 container. Have you found out how to do it?

No I havn't got the solution yet. So, I turned off content browser and simply live with Plain List. This way, I can group by sections and display top article of each section without ruining the frontpage layout.

Have you tried our Filtered News module?

It offers the same layouts and in the current version you can also include or exclude any section and/or category. It might work
