Is it a big deal, to bind latest hitted articles to IP address of user, so he get only articles he viewed?

Hi. I read this post and I wanted to add an image in an article that recently viewed or a category that recently viewed. How can I do that? I tried to search an instruction everywhere but I am not successful to get an answer. Please advice. Thanks.
