Free extensions for Joomla!

if i disable indexing, and i go to the upper right corner of
explorer and type in search criteria, will explorer actually search? as
it stands now, that box is useless for non indexed files. therefore i'm
forced to jumping thru hoops to run a search that finds the files that
have yet to be indexed.
