The first thing you should do after installing com_dmod is publish each module you want it to render in a new called dmod position.

In your admin top menu, go to Extensions -> Module Manager and open the chosen module.

Initially, you should not see dmod in the Positions dropdown list, so you will need to insert the new name by placing the cursor in the field just like in the illustration.
