Here you will find some free extensions for Joomla 1.5, 2.5 and 3.+

We have divided them into the 3 main types of extensions for Joomla: Components, Modules and Plugins.

A component is a separate application. Every time a Joomla page loads, one component is called to render the main page body. They manage their own databases in order to provide a special functionality and most components have two parts: a site part and an administrator part.

Modules are more lightweight and flexible extensions used for page rendering. It provides a specific type of information that can be inserted into your site template and appear on your pages wherever your template supports inserting content.

Plugins are mainly designed to extend or modify the behavior of a certain Joomla application.
