Archived Article on the front page not showing

I have different categories and sections, but I'm interested in filtering only the articles I post on the home page. The problem is that archived articles don't appear, only published. I've tried IDs from different sections and categories outside of the homepage, and archived articles appear just fine.
How can I resolve this?

I realize the module may have been lacking the "Frontpage Items Only" feature, so I have just edited mod_filterednews.xml and helper.php to include it. If that is what you need, please download and update the module!
