Remove the number tab

Hello, i like this module. it will be very useful for our site. but when i presented the module to my superior, she did not like the number tabs showing at the bottom of the module. how can i remove that tabs but still be able to use the next button? thanks. hope for a speedy reply because i am under pressure. Thanks again.

Can you edit
modules/mod_filterednews/scripts/slider.js
line 48
and leave it like this:

I think that should do it.
