image disappeared after folder renamed

Hi, first let me say that extensions on this site have great concepts. I will abund more on that later by suggesting features and ideas i have to the author.

Right now I have a problem with global news module 1.4.3.

I have a global_news module running on a website. it was working fine.

The images folder was renamed on the server, and its new name updated on all content items on the db.

Now, all content items find their images on the newly named folder, but the module don't. It loads the articles but won't show the images. Looking at the code, the image is not there.

What's wrong? I did it because i assumed the module loads images from the article, and the article finds the image OK. Hope it's just a cache issue, but i cleaned all chaches possible already.

any idea?

Are you using Joomla 1.0 or 1.5?

Have you tried updating the module to the current version 2.1?
