execute plugin in article displaying in Globalnews module

Hi, we use and love the Global News plugin on our homepage and always recommend it to our members.

Is there any way to hack it so it will execute the Joomla! plugins from the articles being displayed?

Hi, Kyle. If I understand (sorry, my English is poor ..), you are interested in handling also the plugins (ex. for playing videos) in the preview of articles.
If this is the case, I solved this problem by adding a parameter (plugins, a radio button) in the mod_globalnews.xml file and a few new rows in helper.php file.
Maybe is not the best solution (for example, if plugins are used, I choose to display only title and introtext) but you can easily improve it.
You can see the effect here, in the "Highligths" module; I used it to display videos.
I will attach the two files helper.php (I haved to rename it helper.txt) and mod_globalnews.xml .
