Global News Scroller not displaying a category (frozen)

My global news just stopped working properly. I have narrowed it down to one of my categories.
If this category is included in the configuration of global news it just gets stuck on that category and does not move. If I remove this category it works fine.
One thing to note is that it used to work just fine.

Here are a couple screens of what I am talking about:

Doesn't Work Note Excluded categories. If I add category ID1 to this list it works. But then I am missing an important category :(

Hi,

It looks like you are choosing to "Group by: Section" (First Parameter of Global News) and then you are specifying Section ID #1. Please make sure that your category belongs to that section indeed.

But if you want to show the articles only from your category, switch to "Group by: Category", remove "Section ID: 1" and include your Category ID.
