GlobalNews and banner

Hello,

I like very much this module and I'm using it for a test site http://linode.tud.it/nn/ .
What I'd like to do is to insert (and manage with administration) banners among the 7 lines of global news contents.
I'm pretty new with joomla, any idea how could I do?
