Google sitemap: unsupported file format

Hi everybody
First of all thank you for this outstanding Joomla component but...I cannot use it becasuse Google doesn't accept the sitemap generated by XMap.
Probably there is something wrong in my definitions/configurations.. could someone help me?
I'm using
Joomla 1.14

Xmap 1.1 (the last available)
Ads mgr plugin 1.00
Content plugin 1.01
Jevents plugin 1.02
Fireboard plugin 1.00
RSgallery plugin 1.00
Sobi2 plugin 1.10

sh404sef 1.34

I tried several times (sh404sef on and off, Xmap with and whithout plugins, Xmap under sh404sef on and off) the result is always the same..unsupported file format.

I found the error! an asterix (*) in the name of a Sobi2 entry in combination with sh404sef caused an invalid URL!! I apologize.
