Frozen Component?

I have installed the component today and made my first site map. Once I realized I made a few omissions, I went to change the details / menu and found that the component would not change, edit, delete or ANYTHING! So, I uninstalled and removed the tables from the database. After reinstalling the component, it did the same thing.

What could be wrong?
