Xmap and external link

Hello,

I am using xmap on my site developped with joomla 1.5.3

In my main menu, I have an external link with an url to a powerpoint document and it works well from my main menu.
From the map of the site, if I click on the link i have
object not found : required url cant be found .....

Thanks for your help
