cannot Choose a site map

Postby Nilands55 » Sat Feb 12, 2011 3:05 am

I am using Joomla 1.6 with Firefox browser.
I cannot Choose a site map on the back end. I get a check box and the name of the sitemap and nothing else. No way to save the selection. the link remains
index.php?option=com_xmap&view=html&id=0
I had to go into the database to select the sitemap
Code: Select all
index.php?option=com_xmap&view=html&id=1
What is left is to clean up the duplicate entries

Hi, I.m not able to reproduce the problem, can you please check if you have that problem with other browsers?

Also, are you able to create a menu item to an article and you don't have that problem to select an article?

Hi,

I think I faced the same problem with Firefox itself. Couldn't check it fully with IE but I am sure it exists there also. I think you can recreate it if you install Xmap component and just after that create a menu item without creating a Sitemap. If you save the Menu it saves with id=0. If you create a sitemap and try to modify the menu item, it will not change id to 1.
