XML Parsing Error + /home link
Hello,
I have two problems with Xmap 1.2.11 + Joomla 1.5.22 + php 5.3.4
1) XML Parsing Error
When I access the sitemap at index.php?option=com_xmap&sitemap=1&view=xml sometimes sitemap generation is wrong.
This is what I get with firefox (similar errors with Opera):
The generated sitemap looks like this:
As you can see it doesn't start with XML header but it starts at the middle of the sitemap.
I don't get any error in apache logs: is it possible to enable error reporting?
The problem is reproducible also with cache disabled
2) First link in sitemap is /home
The URL of home page is the alias (/home) instead of being the main website url.
I found this bug in very old version of Xmap and it has come back in 1.2.11
This is very annoying because Google doesn't like /home url in sitemap being redirected with .htaccess to /
Is it possible to fix this bug?
Thanks in advance.
Matteo

No one?
The most important problem is the root link, I think the solution is not that difficult...

Re: XML Parsing Error + /home link
I really hate bumping threads, and I understand Xmap is a free extension, but I need to know if someone is looking into this issues.
I see Xmap 1.2.12 and 1.2.13 have been realeased, but none of the above bugs have been fixed in those releases.
I still have the /home homepage link and the XML parsing error.
Guillelmo, could you please say something?
