Error when installing pkg_com_xmap-2.0.zip over Joomla 1.65

hey guys. i need help installing xmap 2.0 over joomla 1.65. i get the errors below:

Unable to write entry

i believe i have set the right permissions (chmod777) for the folders (see list below) through ftp. our site is hosted via plesk. we have php 5 (or 5.2 does it matter?) and mysql 5.
