XMap 2 Won't Let Me Change Freq of Menus

I installed XMap 2 for Joomla 1.7. I created a news sitemap, but the edit screen won't let me alter the frequency menus change -- just the default of "weekly." My site publishes hourly, so I need to edit the menu changes so Google News will scan my site more frequently.
