Server error after installing XMAP

Hi,
since installation of Xmap under Joomla 1.7 in the frontend I am getting this error: HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request.
...and the backend is not accessible any more at all.
Fatal situation! Help!
