K2 Plugin and Template Problem
I had posted this previously in the "Plugins" category, but then realized I should have posted in "Bugs." I hope this is something you can fix soon!
K2 Plugin and Template Problem
Postby sedonagate » Fri Nov 23, 2012 7:24 pm
Hello, I have installed the latest version of Xmap (pkg_xmap-2.3.2.zip) and I have a website that uses SobiPro and K2. I also use 3 templates with my site and I have both the SobiPro and K2 plugins installed and enabled.
The SobiPro plugin has xmap working correctly: when I click on a link of the category or entry in the html sitemap, it takes me to the SobiPro directory pages and the proper template is always returned.
But, when I click a link for any K2 item, the K2 categories display the correct template, but then the K2 items (articles) always revert to the WRONG template.
I can't find any way to correct this. I also notice that the link to the articles from the site map is a different link than when I go directly from the menu to the article items. Could this not also create duplicate URLs? That would be a problem, as I'm concerned about best SEO practices.
Please help!
Thank you.
