Joomla 2.5.8 XMAP XML Internal Server error 500

Hi,

I have been using XMAP for a long time on Joomla 1.5. I have now upgraded my site to Joomla 2.5.8 and XMAP to the latest version.

My problem is that I can not get XML site map to work. I believe I get Internal Server error 500, and somewhere I have seen a message about Cannot find view..

In trying to find the root cause of the problem I made a copy of my site and took it online at a friends server. To my surprise (I thought the problem was in configuration or code within my site) it was working on his server.

The HTML map is working for both servers.

Could someone please point me in the right direction? Is there some server/php/apache setting or module that XMAP is dependent on that exist on the working server but not on the other server? Any ideas - please!? This is driving me crazy.

Does this load a blank white page and eventually errors after you click the XML link? If so, that's the issue I'm having, and am looking diligently for a solution.

I have the same problem.

html version works fine

but xml version generates Internal server error 500

I search all the forum for solution i deactivated cashe and JoomlaSEF but nothing.

Maybe problem with old version of php? 5.2.* that i have on server or is some conflict with an other component or plugin?

Any solution?
