Generate an RSS output of whole site
Hi,
I'm using xmap for the site of my association, and I wrote an extension for our proprietary module in order to integrate it in maps.
I was looking for something to have an RSS feed of the whole site instead of the one that cames with joomla that works for a single category/section or page.
Is it possible to reuse the engine of xmap and produce an output file in rss format?

McPuppa,
I'm sure it could be done by heavily modifying the xmap.
However, why don't you use an RSS extension instead of modifying xmap or using the built-in Joomla extension? Here is the link: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-display/rss-readers
Thanks,
Ogy

Re: Generate an RSS output of whole site
Hi Ogy,
thanks for the suggestion, but I need an RSS generator for whole my site, not a reader. I asked if it's possible to have that tips because xmap generate a list of the whole site, so I suppose is just a new output format of the output.
I suppose, but I'm not sure it's so easy.
