Xmap duplicates all entries

Hi!
I have installed xmap in my Joomla 1.5.2 site. The site has a main menu whose main items coincide with the Sections and the subitems in the menu coincide with the categories I defined in the site.
Before I use Joomap and the map was perfect (no duplication of entries), but Xmap duplicates all entries in the site. It seems it is making two sitemaps at the same time.
I have tried several methods to fix the problem, but the only one I have seen work is to delete the subitems of the main menu.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Try different settings of "Expand Categories" and "Expand Sections" in the content plugin options. On my site I use "always" and "never" respectively. If I select "always" for both I also get duplicates of the content articles.
