sef friendly menu link to sitemap with sh404sef

I have a sitemap created via main menu at simonshah.co.uk. I also have sh404SEF installed. How can I make the link to the sitemap more SEF friendly?

For example I want the link to the sitemap to change from

http://simonshah.co.uk/component/option,com_xmap/Itemid,66/

to http://simonshah.co.uk/sitemap

I would suggest trying with Sh404 "Advanced settings" enabled and then in the Sh404 configuration settings > Components, advanced configure X-Map to your liking.
