1 pixel Powered by Xmap! - violates googles hidden link policy?

Postby richm » Wed Oct 03, 2007 11:11 pm

Your source code produces the following line on the sitemap:

a href="http://joomla.vargas.co.cr" style="font-size:1px;display:none;">Powered by Xmap!

I am told that this type of one-pixel font no-display link violates googles hidden link policy and could get a site banned. Couple you please comment?

Hi, You can choose whenever show or not this link on your sitemap preferences.

This is a "feature" from Joomap. Thanks for your advice about it. We are going to do something about it!

Also here, I do not understand where to do this. Can you please be a bit more specific? Thanks again!
BTW, the component looks great!

OK, now that I have found the Preferences, I have found it and disable it.
