Hide articles in sitemap html
Hi
Can you help me to hide articles from my sitemap
This component is great but when it shows all articles, the list is to long.
I want to creat sitemap only for:
Articles » Section » Blog and
Articles » Category » Blog
but not articles, just name of Sections and Categories under it.
Thanks

Re: Hide articles in sitemap html
Maybe you didn't understand me.
I have over 2000 articles currently on my Joomla and all of the are included in xmap.
So you can imagine how long is this sitemap list.
Can you help me to solve this problem, please

Re: Hide articles in sitemap html
Hi.
To hide articles in Xmap, you must go, in Joomla Admin Control Panel, to Components/Xmap and, then, follow the steps indicated in image:

1. Click on flap Extensions.
2. In Content Plugin, click on Options: the corresponding window will appear.
3. In Expand Categories, choose the option that suits you. If you select Only In XML Sitemap the articles will be hidden in the sitemap web, but will be fully indexed in the sitemap.xml for Google and other search engines.
4. Optionally, you can choose a specific number of articles to display. Care: "0" means display all (unless you've choosen "Never" in the above select list).
5. Optionally, you can also choose only to display articles that do not exceed a certain age in days, determined by you. Same as 4, "0" means the opposite of what might appear, that is, without age limit.
I hope this serve yo.
Regards,
Nacho

Wow, thanks Nacho! I didn't even know about this plug-in. That opens options up a bit.

Re: Hide articles in sitemap html
I am trying to get all my articles to appear in both the html and xml site map, but these directions didn't help. I'm using Joomla 1.6.
Also, I'm trying to change the order of my menus. My bottom menu is appearing first, my 'hidden' menu is appearing second, and my top (primary) menu is appearing third.
How do I display all articles (not connected to a menu but within a category) display in the xml and html site map?
How do I change the order of my menus?
