Xmap & Site Footer
Hello,
Just getting started with XMAP 2.2 on Joomla 1.7.3 with K2. I installed it, and created sitemap but have a couple of questions:
1. Rather than posting a menu link to the site map, i would like to expose the site map in the footer. I would like to create a module and assign it to a specific position in my site's template. However, When I create the module, I don't see XMAP as a content type to select. Is there any way to work around this?
2. With K2, I can create a folder inside myTemplate/html/, copy the original K2 templates and modify the copies. Would XMAP work the same?
Thanks in advance
Eyal

I think it is possible to use the K2 Custom HTML tool but I'm not sure how to call the XMAP component from PHP.
Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Eyal

Re: Xmap & Site Footer
Do you just want a link in the footer to the Site Map page?
If so, when you've created the menu item for Site Map you'll see a Link displayed in the Details box. Use it in the footer code of the template. You can safely trash the menu item.
Or are you asking for something more complicated?
