Still having problem with Xmap 2.2.1 & akeebaa
Sorry, I have read all the previous post and note the point regarding the disabling the akeeba system-system restore plugin but
1. I can not find this plugin in my lisining - no matter how many times I look
2. There is no option at the end of page in install component screen and to select the option to revert to standard installer.
I am using akeeba core 3.3 and Xmap 2.2.1 and still get the following message using joomla 1.5
Unable to load Settings from Database: Create Settings table
Any guidance would be great

Hi:
I had the same problem of not finding this Akeeba restore point link. I found it once you perform a fresh install of Akeeba. It's a check box that appears in your back end the first time Akeeba installs. But I believe Akeeba has discontinued support for this feature in recent versions.

Good luck!

Hi:
Who advised not to uninstall old version ? Akeeba ? If you can afford it, try a professional subscription. Excellent support !
And Xmap is giving me trouble too. This is a very popular extension, but no support. Vargas should charge somehow for this and provide support.
Bye
