XMAP error trying to install Joomla 2.5.3

I have always used XMaps but I just installed a new site Joomla 2.5.3 and it appears I am no longer able to install Xmaps 1.2.14.zip

I tried deleting the directories and installing again. The install creates the directories but the fatal error kills it.
