add menu option does not work

Hallo i am a newbie with xmap. I use joomla 1.5 for different sites. After installing the zip: com_xmap-1.2.14 I opend xmap in components. "However the link "Add menus" does not work. Nothing happens. Can someone tell me what's wrong?
