xml sitemaps without articles, news sitemap with articles

I'd like to have one sitemaps only with categories name (no articles) and another sitemap with articles. There are plenty of articles and I don't want to disable all existing and new articles in the first sitemaps. In Xmap - Content Plugin is an option 'Max. Articles per Category' but it is global for all sitemaps.
How can I do this?
