XML link structure question

Hi,

I begin to use XMAP. It generated a XML link and i saw that the articles' link are

http://xxx.com/index.php/component/content/article/34-xxx

But i knowthe original link of the article is

http://xxx.com/index.php/article/34-xxx

Why does XMAP generates "/component/content/" part in the link?

Anyone can explain why?
