xmap 1.1 for joomla 1.5 encoding error
I've translated xmap to hebrew, but almost all strings in the modal view (the slimbox frame) are gibberish.
How can I fix it?
(the hebrew.php file attached is utf-8 encoded)
thanks,

Hi, thanks for that, try modifying the value for _XMAP_CHARSET to utf-8
That's in the language file.
If that works fine for you, please let know so I can include the translation in our package!
Best regards,
Guillermo Vargas

Re:xmap 1.1 for joomla 1.5 encoding error
hi,
encoding is now ok. thanks for helping.
There's still a problem with the formatting of the back-end, because hebrew (as arabic) is written right-to-left and the design assumes left-to-right page.
I help in mirroring the styling code of xmap. would you like me to send patches?
thanks again

Hi Lior, can you please help me on this? How can I modify Xmap to work with right-to-left languages?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re:xmap 1.1 for joomla 1.5 encoding error
all I needed to do was to change the encoding to 'utf-8' in the lang file. the front-end is looking great (the sitemap is aligned correctly since it uses the template's css).
I guess the back-end component of xmap is using custom styling, so it's not "fitting-in" with joomla's rtl-css of the back-end.
I think to most logical customization would be to use "mirrored" (left<-->right, etc.) css file when $this->language==he-il.
I'm overloaded with my finals at the moment, so I can't contribute any actual patches :( I hope I'll find the time in the next month.
