Multi sitemaps

I have an ideea, maybe is rong what i do, to generate a map for each menu item (section), maybe google do not undestand nothing, so to compensate this if you have more item's, let's say bigger than 5000 items, Xmap generates multiple sitemaps, with 5000 items, maximum?

The admin only have to do is go to sitemaps google account and publish the sitemap's.

What do you say about this?

Hello! No solution for this? If this can be done by Xmap that will be great for large websites. You do not have any solution for this?

Hi Adams, thanks for your suggestion, currently I'm working on improvements for large sites, specially, sitemaps with more than 5000 links. Still I don't know when this new version is going to be released. I would appreciate your help on testing this.

Hi! Sure i will help you! I use my site who currently have more than 10500 link's. I suggest that the divide of sitemap to be made on 5-6000 link's because more then that will be refused by google sitemaps, the error will be something like: "Network unreachable" or "Error 200".

Nothing new? Xmap for me is working very well, but...when you have one section with 8000 link's (just reach this number)...this is not take by google.

Any news about multiple sitemaps?

Hi! I am back, google sitemaps is a pain in the a**. Now is don not realy taste sitemaps larger that 2500 link's, this is stupid. So, when will come a sitemap who make's multiple sitemaps?

Yes I would like to have this feature too.
At the moment my site is rapidly growing and has now over 3000 content items in just a few days.

So I really would like to have this.

and xmap can not support it
please try to make split site map and make static site map
