[SOLVED] Seyret and Fireboard Plugins not working?
Thanks for the quick response in putting out the requested plugins and in fixing the bugs.
I have installed the Seyret and Fireboard plugins, but the sitemap only lists the menu items, there is no expansion.
For seyret, it lists the categories, but not the video files. You could compare with Seyret's RSS to get an idea of what I am referring to.
Finally, would it be possible to include in future releases a mechanism to eliminate multiple listings of the same item? It seems that for now, you have the choice of either including or excluding entire categories. It would be useful if there was a tool to just eliminate (without excluding) double and multiple entries.
All the issues I have raised in this post can be seen here[/url:2a2496f8].
And here is an example of the Seyret RSS[/url:2a2496f8]
Thanks

Re:Seyret and Fireboard Plugins not working?
Hi, for Seyret plugin, could be because you don't have a link to the component in your menu and only have links of kind "url" to the categories. I have modified the plugin to enable this kind of items on menus and auto-detect the category to display, please upgrade to the latest version of Seyret Video plugin and try again.
For fireboard, I'm going to do the same. But, for now, can you check if your menu item is of type "component" and not "url"
Thanks!

I have installed the new Seyret and it doesn't work either. And yes, my menu items are setup as component links. I am sending a PW, if you would like to check.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re:Seyret and Fireboard Plugins not working?
Hi Fideri, I can see the seyret plugin working fine on your site. The menu is expanded and the categories are showed! Maybe you installed the plugin the sitemap was on cache. Is necesary clean up the cache after install or uninstall a plugin. (If you have cache enabled for that sitemap)
I don't know what is happening with your fireboard plugin! When was the last time you downloaded the plugin? Can you try again with the version that is currently in our site?
Thanks

Re:Seyret and Fireboard Plugins not working?
Thanks Guilleva. It turns that I was using an older version of Fireboard plugin. I have updated and that now works!
Concerning Seyret (and actually Fireboard as well), I thought it would be possible to go to the level of the actual videos/posts. Because I can see that with joomla, the sitemap goes to the level of the content articles (i.e Section->Category->Article) which would be the equivalent of the posts in Fireboard and videos items in Seyret (i.e. Category->video)?
Or I have got it all wrong?

Re:Seyret and Fireboard Plugins not working?
Hi Fideri, right now that isn't possible. We are working in a better plugin handle that is going to make this possible. Please keep checking for new versions.
Thanks.
Thanks.
