Lightbox bad behavior

I select lightbox Js - then in gallery I click on an image - it pops up - then I select close ( see bottom of image ) - then it seems to go into the lightbox js - but there is no close option -

only the next ( when mouse moved on left side of image and next when mouse moved on right side of image )

Just quickly from the top of my head.... I believe in the admin backend there is a selection somewhere to select to have the close button on the popups or lightbox.

I will come back later and if you cannot find it I will tell you exactly where.

There is an option that says
"Display "Close" link in popup"

and the Popup window does have the close - However I am selecting Lightbox JS for my popup window -

the problem is that - both the regular popup and Lightbox want to be active so first the popup show up and then when you click on the close link it closes but as soon as you do the Lightbox window shows up and it has no close - one has to wait for a few secs and try the esc key

I would like to confirm somewhat the same error. I have downloaded the Zoom Native 1.5 of today because of the updated and my lightbox no longer works as it used to. I have tried both browsers IE7 and FireFox.

My selection is the Lightbox Slideshow. When clicking on the image, the left or right arrow does not appear as well as the close button. However, if you click in the general area where these usually reside, they will function. one just can't see them. I've doubled checked to ensure that the image files were uploaded to my server correctly and in their proper folder and they are.

Also on first click, it goes to a popup window, once closed and by clicking again on the image, it then goes into lightbox mode.

All my settings are the same as before the update.

Okay, I can no longer reproduce the popup window on the first click problem, however The Lightbox slideshow images disapearing still stands.

Also I have found that when Lightbox slideshow is open, some of my menu items are now showing thru, which they didn't before. Where there some z-index modification with the updated Zoom? If so, is it possible that is also why we can no longer see the buttons?

I have just upgraded to Joomla 1.5.4 and this problem still occurs.

Hi, I'm looking into the close button problem. I cannot reproduce the problem with the next and prev buttons. Please try doing a "full refresh" on your site.

Hi, please download the package again and replace your files /components/com_zoom/lib/js/ligthbox.js and /components/com_zoom/etc/ligthbox.css with the ones in the package.

That should do the trick!

I've downloaded the Zoom 1.5 native and extracted the files and replaced the files mentioned above.

I've cleared the cache, in the backend and in both my browsers, IE7 and Firefox, refreshed the page several times.

Unfortunately the same problem occurs. I've attached a snapshot for your convenience. If you need to access my site I would be happy to oblige, however I do not want to make my domain public here.

This may not be relevant, but I just reinstalled the whole Zoom 1.5-native on my server.

The same problem occurs.

If that is the case I will wait for complete fix -
