Front End User System Problem

When I login from the front end and go to Media Manager through the User System, a screen displays asking me to pick a gallery from a pull down list. Unfortunately the pull down list is not populated with any of my galleries. Therefore, I am stuck going forward with Media Manager from the front end. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Hi Scott, are you only having that problem in the frontend? Which language are you using?

Yes, problem is only on the front end. Back end administration is all working fine.

Language is english.

Are you using any 3rd party SEF component?

Can you see if there is any JavaScript error reported in Firefox's Error Console when you access that screen?

I do not have SEF enabled on my site. I don't have the SEF plugin enabled either.

I'm not using Firefox browser. I am using Microsoft IE 7. I am not getting any error messages from IE 7.

Here's another piece of information on this problem. I logged in the front end as the back end Super Administrator and everthing works fine for uploading media. So the problem is narrowed down to when I log in the front end as a Publisher. I checked the publisher rights and they all appear to be okay, only thing I disabled was creating and deleting galleries from the front end as a Publisher.

Any ideas as to what the problem is guilleva? I can get you a username and password to the site if you want to dig into it. I really like the gallery, but if I can't get the front end to work, it won't fit into my plans for the website. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Problem solved. I didn't have the Share This Gallery checkbox checked on the Actions tab in the back end administration. As soon as I checked that box then the pull down list on the front end populated with all my galleries. For those experiencing similar problem, you need to check this box for each gallery you creat.
