Can't add/edit sitemap
Hi everyone,
I just installed xmap and created a link to the component. I can see the sitemap but it shows the wrong menu. When I go to components > xmap and click on "add sitemap" nothing happens.
How can I regenerate the map using only my own menu and not the main menu?
Any suggestions?

Hello Antonio, you can add or remove menus from your sitemap. You need to have Javascript enabled to use Xmap. To add a menu to the sitemap, click over "Add Menu" at the bottom of the menu list. You can remove a menu from your sitemap clicking "remove" when the mouse is over the menu you want to delete.
Please check you have javascript enabled on your browser!

Re:Can't add/edit sitemap
Hi guilleva, thanx for your reply.
Yes, JS is enables (as a proof, I use gmail heavily).
Could it be something with the LiveSite? I'm using an IP, not an URL.
Anyway, would you know if there is a way to manually switch the menu that xmap generates by default to my own menu? As I mentioned, I can see the sitemap, but it's not the one I want.

Re:Can't add/edit sitemap
BTW, this is what I get under Sitemaps. Only the first line is a link. All the rest is plain text. :-(
Add Sitemap
_XMAP_NAME_NEW_SITEMAP
0. mainmenu
Addd Menus
ID do Sitemap: 1
HTML XML
Última Visita Out/03/2007 Nunca
Número de Visitas 17 --
Quantidade de links 57 --

Re:Can't add/edit sitemap
Yes, I think that could be the problem but I'm not sure!
You can manually add or delete a menu from your sitemap writin this urls on your browser address bar:
To delete a menu:
http://[yourip]/administrator/index2.php?option=com_xmap&task=
ajax_request&action=remove_menu_sitemap&sitemap=1&menu=mainmenu
To add a menu:
http://[yourip]/administrator/index2.php?option=com_xmap&task=
ajax_request&action=add_menu_sitemap&sitemap=1&menus[]=othermenu
Just replace the menu name at the end of the url!!
I'm goin to check the component using a IP address to see if that is the problem and what can I do to resolve it!
thanks!

Re:Can't add/edit sitemap
Nice! It works! Thanks!
I've added a new menu using the link you suggested and decided to keep the default menu.
Now I can see both of them. The problem now is that the new one has no header/separator.
Is there a way to join them into a single ordered list?

Re:Can't add/edit sitemap
Hi Guilleva, I can now see two sitemaps. What I mean by separator is a line or something that tells where the first one ends and the next one begins.
De veras, what I want is a way to join both menus into a unique ordered sitemap. Would you know if that's at all possible?
