Hi, in that same file, look for:
line 51:

# $zoom->createProgressScript('upload');
# $zoom->hideProgress();


and replace it by:

$zoom->createProgressScript('upload');
$zoom->hideProgress();

Thanks for the patch. I can edit the images but I cannot save HTML descriptions. It saves them in plain text. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes, but that's the unsupported version, there is another native version of Zoom Media Gallery from Joomla 1.5
