HTML links get stripped

Any way that HTML links in articles could be active instead of being stripped? Any links I list in a story that appear in the module don't display.

BTW...I've had to completely disable images in the module because of the fact that it was brining the site down, as mentioned here...

Hi Philip,

All tags in the introtext are sripped in order to avoid any HTML conflict when shortening it, but in helper.php, you can delete line 271

$fn_text = trim( strip_tags(  $fn_text ) );

in order to keep them.

As for the images problem, I'm sorry, but I still don't know where the problem comes from
