Google Webmaster Tools and XML Link problem :(

Hello I just tried to use the XML link inside of the google Webmaster Tool.
I am not sure if it is the problem with the code or maybe another problem with some settings. I added the site to the Webmaster Tools and wanted to add the Sitemap by using the link provided by the xmap preferences.
I got following message by google:

"The Sitemap must be located at http://www.my-url.com/. To add a Sitemap at http://www.my-url.com/http://www.my-url.com/, first add that site to your account and then click the Add a Sitemap link beside it."

Maybe someone knows a similar problem and has a tip for me.

You should submit your url without the "http://www.my-url.com/" part, just "index.php?...."
