Error on page when in Gallary manger

I just tried upload just one audio file about 17,000 bytes and it says please wait then just comes back the original page with no error or a success message. However i was able to post two documents successfully. When i checked the setting under media, i noticed that my server limits uploads to 8192kb or 8mb files, where and how do i change this? Should i change this? Is there a way around this?

Hi, you have to change it in the php settings (php.ini)

It still doesn't work. To confirm that scan directory doesn't work i uploaded a file that was successfully uploaded from the single file tab to a folder called newfolder and did a scan, i found it and an audio file, i unchecked the audio file and clicked upload. I doesn't do anything. If you would like to try it yourself the username and pass still stand and the directory to scan are newfolder and or images/jukebox
