Hi. after upload the sitemap to google.
I use the URL www.inghospitalaria.com
index.php?option=com_xmap&sitemap=1&view=xml&no_html=1
But i get an error because
Formato de archivo no compatible not compatible
Parece que su Sitemap no está en un formato compatible. Por favor, asegúrese de que cumple con nuestras directrices para Sitemaps y vuélvalo a enviar.
It says that i do not use a compatible sitemap.

How to resolve that ?

Hi, It looks good to me, try deleting the sitemap from google webmaster tools and resubmit it again. Make sure to write or paste url correctly.

I just resubmit the sitemap to google and still the same. Here is the JPG for the screenshot.

Still having the problem. The url is correct i use:
index.php?option=com_xmap&sitemap=1&view=xml&no_html=1
when you open the file in the url works.

I'm having a similar problem on sites that use sh404SEF.

This is a typical error:

821 Parsing error
We were unable to read your Sitemap. It may contain an entry we are unable to recognize. Please validate your Sitemap before resubmitting.
821 Invalid URL
This is not a valid URL. Please correct it and resubmit.


However, I have one site which combined Artio Joomsef and xmap, and there are no errors.

Artio Joomsef is re-writing the URL for xmap, but my sh404SEF installs is not.

I'm wondering if this could be the culprit?

No, this has nothing to do with the re-writing of the URL for xmap component.

Can you please pm me the url to your xml sitemap and I'm going to take a look at it!

As i can see. the sitemap is correct. but google still says that the sitemap it is not compatible format.

I have sh404SEF component for SEF URL.

There is a strange character in one url on your sitemap. The url is:
http://www.orthodoxbiz.com/blogs/rss-~V-just-more-techno-jargon-or-a-really-useful-tool.html

Probably, the strange character looks like a simple character but it is not, check between "rss" and "just".

Thank you. that was it exactly. I removed the character, resubmitted, and presto.

I checked the other sites with errors, and found that they had similar issues. I have a habit of doing article titles like this: "RSS - Just more" and that is causing a problem with sh404SEF. Artio seems to handle that kind of structure, so that was causing the issue. Thank you!
