Can't set default site map, cant delete old one.

Hello Im using joomla 1,.6 and have xmap installed.
the first generated site map had some broken links so i decided to publish a second one, new one with complete info. Now im trying to set it as default and delete the old one but i can't do it.
The old one showes unplublished, but cant delete it.
the new one, when selecting it and click on "set as default" the page goies to blank and stays there,,,,
please help no problem with donating if solving issue.

Did you ever get any replies on this or any solution? I have exactly the same problem!
