Sitemap header text spacing/styling bullet images

Postby msubob » Sat Mar 22, 2008 8:44 am

Hi all. Looks like my Xmap is working, but I have a couple styling questions that I cannot seem to get changed in the xmap.css. Please see if you can provide me some help.

1. How/where can I change the "Sitemap" header text and reduce the spacing above and below the "Sitemap" header text? Also, where can I shift the margin from left (looks like 0) to more right? (see attached pic)

2. Also, I haven't found anything on how to change the bullet images used in Xmap. If it is an Xmap.css issue or template css issue please provide me some direction.

Thanks so much,

Robert

Hi, to reduce the space, try disabling the menu titles on your sitemap preferences.

I don't see the xmap.css included on your sitemap, maybe you have checked the exclude css file option. Isn't?

Thanks for the reply Guilleva. I unchecked both under preferences and the spaces were removed. I still have a couple questions.

1. Where to change the "Sitemap" header text and shift the margin from left (looks like 0) to more right?

2. Changing to two (or three) columns under preferences does not work. Is there something to change in my template CSS or the Xmap CSS?

3. How do I change the bullet images.

Thanks so much,

Robert

Hi,

1) the title comes from the name of your Xmap menu item. Right now the only way to change that title is changing the title of menu item.

The margin should be changed on your template or css file. Ask to your webmaster for some help to do that.

2) The columns option only works if you have included more than one menu on your sitemap.

3) To change the bullet images modify your css file, see

Thanks for the reply. Quick question for now. What exactly did you mean when you said, "columns option only works if you have included more than one menu on your sitemap?"

Did you mean create two menu items in say your main menu? Or you must have two menus published (main & other menus)?

Thanks,

Robert

At least two different menus, could be main menu and other.
