Xmap does not show "last modification date" for all urls

Hi,
I'm using Xmap v2.2 and Joomla v 2.5.6.
When I run XML Sitemap, some urls don't show the "last modification date".
For example: my main page, my contact page (i'm using joomla contact component), and my sub-menus urls (ie: http://....gallery shows the "last modification date", but all urls under gallery http://..gallery/something does not show.

Any help or explanation would be much appreciated.

Hi, yes, that's okay, Xmap is not able to determine the correct last modification date for all the entries. For example, some extensions doesn't store the last modification of their entries. There is no problem with leaving those empty instead of providing an arbitrary date.

Guilleva, thanks for your reply. If Xmap is not able to determine the correct last modification date for all the entries, will this be bad for search engines? What I'm concerned the most is my main page.

I am using xmap for a lot of websites and i am very confident. I think jim has an issue here.

For example i am using an Article blog as main page for a site. The last modification date is empty. I have changed the meta data description, but Google still shows the old description. I posted the sitemap several times in the Webmaster tool of Google. No result.

Maybe an idea to use a general date of current system date?
