problems with multilingual Author descriptions

Hi,
First of all thank you for the great component!
I have a small problem when trying to add a multilingual description in the author list interface that contains non latin characters. Every single non latin character gets exchanged into "?" symbol as soon as article is saved for example "muziką" as "muzik?" or "اللقب " as "?????" an so on.
It suppose to be the text editor's problem but it happens only when I am working through the Author list interface so far in other cases (for example in article editing) it works well.
I currently I am using JCE editor but it does the same with "TinyMCE".
Hope we can find the solution together.

Hi, I hope so too!

Could you please add an example of the text you are trying to save in the "Edit Author" description field so I can better check this issue? I have tested "muziką" but it seems to display alright.

Информационный орган группы "Липовый цвет", которая была основана в Могилеве на одной из кухонных пьянок в 2010 году Юлием Ильющенко и Денисом Лимоновым. If it works for you, does it mean misconfiguration of my server or CMS ?

Yes, that's probably it because it does work for me.

Yup - I've got it!

The problem was in database misconfiguration, to solve it I have changed database collition setting from "latin1_swedish_ci" to "utf8_general_ci",
aswell did the same for every string of "jos_authorlist" table. And now it is fine.
