Extravote doesn't work since latest Joomla update 2.5.9

Hi,
I've been using ExtraVote on 2 of my sites successfully for the past couple of months and they have been working perfectly. All of a sudden, the votes are not being added and messages are not displayed. The stars show and the numbers (whatever was voted before), but no new votes can be registered.
I am quite positive that this has something to do with the latest Joomla update 2.5.9. That's the only thing I can think of that is the common change between the 2 of my web sites. I think that something in the Joomla update has made the plugin dysfunctional.

Can you please investigate this?

I have just tested the plugin with J2.5.9 and it's working normally. Right now I can't think of a reason why it stopped working for you.

It could be a permissions problem.

Could you check your permissions on plugins/ all the way through /content/extravote/assets?

Individual files within the assets folder are 644, assets 755, extravote 755, content 755, plugins 755.
That's correct, right?
