Remove "Super User" login from sitemap

Postby lordkung » Thu Mar 21, 2013 4:45 pm

Hi there!

First I want to thank you for making this great tool available for download.
I don't know if anyone can stumble into my xml sitemap page, but I really would appreciate a way to remove the "... login with a "Super User" account..." link from my sitemap. I don't need to edit anything and it would give me peace of mind. I hope there's a way to do it and if I ever need it I can always put it back. I am on Joomlal 2.5 latest release.

Please help.

Thanks,
Kung.

Hello

not sure I have exactly the same issue, but I am asked to log into my site to have the link to the sitemap - but I do not have any logging requirement for the site, so I do not even understand what this is all about.

Anyway to get this site map without having to log into the front end? I know nobody replied to lordkung, but I can not help but think this is an issue for more than two people .... ?

Thanks

Hi lazy dude! Try to use your brain and head!
Here is the solution:
In file
Code: Select all
/components/com_xmap/views/xml/tmpl/default_xsl.php
find this line -
Code: Select all
<div id="instructions">

and remove this part of code -
Code: Select all
    <div>
        <?php $sitemapUrl = 'index.php?option=com_xmap&view=xml&id='.$this->item->id; ?>
        <?php if (!$this->user->get('id')): ?>
            <p><?php echo JText::sprintf('COM_XMAP_LOGIN_AS_ADMIN_EDIT_SITEMAP', JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_users&view=login&return='.base64_encode($sitemapUrl))); ?></p>
        <?php else: ?>
            <?php $sitemapUrl = JUri::base(true).'/'.str_replace('&','&amp;',$sitemapUrl); ?>
            <p><?php echo JText::_('COM_XMAP_XML_SITEMAP_HELP'); ?></p>
            <p><b><?php echo JText::_('COM_XMAP_XML_SITEMAP_URL'); ?></b>: <?php echo $sitemapUrl; ?></p>
            <div id="filter_options">
                <form method="get" action="<?php echo JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_xmap&view=xml'); ?>">
                <input type="hidden" name="option" value="com_xmap" />
                <input type="hidden" name="view" value="xml" />
                <input type="hidden" name="id" value="<?php echo $this->item->id; ?>" />
                <label><input onclick="this.form.submit();"<?php echo ($showTitle? ' checked="checked"':''); ?> type="checkbox" value="1" name="filter_showtitle" /><?php echo JText::_('COM_XMAP_DISPLAY_TITLE'); ?></label>
                <label><input onclick="this.form.submit();"<?php echo ($showExcluded? ' checked="checked"':''); ?> type="checkbox" value="1" name="filter_showexcluded" /><?php echo JText::_('COM_XMAP_DISPLAY_EXCLUDED_ITEMS'); ?></label>
                </form>
            </div>
        <?php endif; ?>
    </div>

This is a final result -
Code: Select all
...
<div id="instructions">
</div>
<div style="width:100%;clear:both;height:1px;"></div>
</div>

...

Save & here we go! No "... login with a "Super User" account..."
