We are proud to announce the release of the new version of Xmap - The sitemap generator for Joomla!. This version fixes some small errors in the previous version and introduces some new features. The new features in this version are:

  • (new) The user can change the priority and change frequency of each menu item in the XML sitemap when logged in as Super Administrator in the frontend.
  • (new) Generates Google News sitemap (beta)

    I love xmap - it is by far the most useful and powerful plugin on my site for
    SEO.

    Is there any chance you'll be updating the Mosets Tree plugin to work natively
    on 1.5?

    Yes, I will but not while Mosets Tree require the legacy plugin to work. There
    is not a Joomla 1.5 version available yet.

    Sounds great! Thanks again for your work on this. Xmap really is fantastic!

    I'm on the Mtree beta team and I'm sure a formal 1.5 native release will be
    arriving shortly.

    fyi - there's a user on your site selling a plugin for mtree and claims it works
    with mtree natively:

    I just tried out the update mtree2.1 plugin. Works fabulously! Thanks so much
    for maintaining this vital Joomla Component! I can't think of another component
    more valubale to SEO than Xmap.

    how to change the meta description to avoid duplic

    Hi

    is there a way to change the meta description of Xmap Page?

    because the tools say that my site has some duplicated meta descriptions on two
    pages: main page and xmap(site map) page.

    :arrow: i have read somewhere that this (to modify header description) is only
    possible by editing the source code.


    :arrow: which code do we need to edit an in which file ?

    Hey,

    I have a question : Should i use that last version with Seyret component ?
    Because xith the version i have i'm using Seyret plugin 1.0 and it is not very
    OK because it is not showing the videos URLS.

    What do you think i should do to propose a greate sitemap too google ?
